What are Lovelinks?
Lovelinks is a range of elegant jewellery based upon the concept of a charm bracelet. The necklaces and bracelets are designed to take a number of links that allow you to personalise your jewellery to reflect your personality, favourite colours or interests. There are over 500 links to choose from. Links can be removed and added with ease enabling you to change your bracelet or necklace whenever you choose.

What Size Bracelet Should I choose?
How to measure your wrist: Use a soft tape measure or thin piece of paper/string and a ruler. Place the tape around your wrist just above the wrist bone. Make sure that you can move the tape or paper/string. Make a note of the measurement. Dependent on how you like your bracelet to fit you need to add 2 - 3cm. Remember that a bracelet full of links will feel smaller by at least 1cm. As an indication my wrist measures 18cm, I have a 21cm bracelet that is full of links and it sits at cuff level. Use the measure or paper/string to the length that you think you need to order and see how it feels on your wrist. We are always happy to exchange bracelets if you find the size too big/small.

How many links will fit on a Lovelinks bracelet?
The number of links that will fit on a Lovelinks bracelet will depend on the style you choose. Murano Glass, silver, gold plated and 14ct links are approximately 1cm. Spacers vary in size between 0.25 - 0.5cm. Barrel links are approximately 1.5cm. As a guide, a 21cm bracelet will fit approximately 20 average size links. Remember to leave space so that your bracelet or necklace can be fastened with ease.

How many links will fit on a Petites bracelet?
Petites are smaller than Lovelinks. The number of links that will fit on a bracelet will depend on the type of bracelet and the size of the links. Most Murano Glass and average sized links will measure just over 0.5cm. Petite Silver and Gold plated bracelets with a length of 21cm will hold approximately 24 links. Petite Leather bracelets will hold approximately 4 - 5 links and are available as gift packs with 5 Murano Glass Petites. Longer length Petite decorative necklaces are designed to allow 5-6 links to be fitted.

How many links will fit on a Lovelinks necklace?
This really depends on how full you want the necklace. As a rough guide allow 1cm as a minimum per link. If you are using a number of barrel links allow 1.5cm per link. Remember to leave space so that your bracelet or necklace can be fastened with ease.

How easy are the links to fit?
Each link is manufactured with a soft rubber inner that ensures it fits snugly on to the bracelet or necklace. All bracelets and necklaces in both ranges have equally spaced stoppers. Links can be rested at these stoppers allowing the inbetween links to move freely.

Can Lovelinks and Petite by Lovelinks by interchanged?
No, Lovelinks will fit Lovelinks bracelets and necklaces and Petite will fit on the Petite range of necklaces, bracelets and earings.

Can I order a full bracelet?
Yes you can choose your bracelet and links based on the suggested number as above. Alternatively have a look at our starter bracelets within the bespoke and starter bracelet range. These include a bracelet and a number of links to get you started with your Lovelinks or Petites collection.

How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders received before 2.30pm on Monday - Friday will be despatched either the same day or the next working day. Orders received after 2.30pm will be despatched on the next working day. Orders received on Saturday or Sunday will be despatched on Monday. All packages to postal addresses in the United Kingdom are mailed using the services of Royal Mail Recorded or Special Delivery with a next day delivery wherever possible. All items must be signed for.

What happens if my order fails to arrive?
All items are despatched using Royal Mail Special Delivery or Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. Items are tracked and insured whilst in transit and need to be signed for on delivery. If your items do not arrive with you within two working days please telephone us: 01925 763744

What happens if I don't like the links I've ordered?
If you change you mind or are not happy with your purchase, all items (excluding earings) can be returned at your own expense to the Village Goldsmith within 14 days for a full refund.
